Learning From My Betting Failures
First to explain why I write this article. I have been betting on the net or at a brick and mortar casinos for many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it up until you are flat broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I'll go a bit too far. It appears you're just having a blast until you decide to track your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It doesn't works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.
When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, don't say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, believe me, this method almost never ever operates. Say you're betting on slots, have a bankroll set to the side prior to beginning your action. Don't go over that limit, regardless how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a separate canister. Don't use your winnings no matter what. Once you've gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it is on the net or at a land based casino, do not stick around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.
Remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren't having fun yourself, you don't belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, don't even start.
